Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Builds

In Battlefield 3, your build refers to the kit, weapon, weapon attachments, optics, gadgets and specializations you choose. When you combine all of these in just the right way, you can come up with unique functions and strategies for each kit in the game.

As a result, I have decided to put together a list of a few of Battlefield 3 multiplayer builds for you to use, covering both at least one standard, strong build, as well as at least one unique BF3 build you can use to fill a specialty role in your games.

Having a variety of builds at your disposal is essential for your success in Battlefield 3. The reason for this is the best builds change based on not only the game mode you are playing in but also the map you are playing on. For example, the best build for an Assault player in Team Deathmatch will differ from Caspian Border to Kharg Island, as well as from Team Deathmatch to Rush.

Battlefield 3 Builds – Assault Kit

The Assault Kit has many different types of builds to work with. You can use a fully automatic rifle with something like an Holographic sight, a laser sight or suppressor, and a foregrip and you will have a good close-quarters combat class. This will allow you to fire accurately from the hip by reducing kickback significantly, and provides you with a good sight for close quarters.

There are a few unusual Assault kit builds I have come up with as well. You can read about them in our Battlefield 3 Assault builds section.

BF3 Builds – Engineer

The Battlefield 3 Engineer Kit definitely has a variety of specialty builds you can come up with. In fact, the Engineer is the #1 class for unusual roles given its access to rockets and its propensity for machinery. You could cater your build to be anti-machinery or opt for controlling machines yourself.

Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Builds – Recon

As a Recon player, you have quite a few options. You could put together a build which is ideal for sniping or you could make something a little more friendly for shorter ranges. You can even have builds that cater towards sneaking behind enemy lines and planting important devices like the Radio Beacon.

Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Builds – Support

As a Support player, you have quite a few options available to you as well. On larger games, particularly rush mode, you can hone in on using the C4 and your other gadgets to their maximum effectiveness, whereas on other maps or situations you may want to focus on taking down other players and supplying Ammo for your Engineers.
